Water sports
Windsurfing, kayaking, kitesurfing, paddleboarding and jet skiing are suggestions for an active day on the water. Check local rentals, safety and availability before setting off.
Minigolf and go-karting
Play minigolf with the family at Golf & Fun Park, or enjoy speed and excitement at Marielyst Gokart. There are activities for young and old.
Shopping and dining
Marielyst has small shops selling local goods, souvenirs and crafts, as well as restaurants and cafés. Browse clothing, home accessories and second-hand finds, then take a break with good food.
Cycling and walking
Explore forests, coast and open countryside around Marielyst and Væggerløse by bike or on foot. Try the cycle routes on the dike or a walk in Naturskoven. Bikes can be rented at the square, and you can also ask Per and Else about renting from us.
Fishing
The area has fishing lakes and opportunities for sea fishing from the shore. Check equipment rentals, local rules and fishing licences before trying to catch your own dinner.
Knuthenborg Safaripark
Take a day trip to Knuthenborg Safaripark on Lolland. Children and adults can see animals, including giraffes and elephants, up close.
Marielyst Square
The square is a meeting point for town life and summer activities. Enjoy concerts, markets and cultural events. Check the current programme when planning your visit.
Golf
Marielyst has an 18-hole golf course where you can enjoy a round in scenic surroundings.
Culture and day trips
Experience history at Middelaldercentret in Nykøbing Falster, or visit Fuglsang Kunstmuseum. Nykøbing Falster is also a shopping town with restaurants and activities.
